"When I arrived at noon, there was already a long queue at the reception. Only one of three desks was open at this time. It took me more than 20 minutes just to drop off my bags. Additionally, the bags were left in the lobby for minimum another 10 minutes, because the employee wasn't able to securely store them in time. I anyhow left with a bad feeling, due to the very crowded lobby and my bags being in the middle of it all. I later came back for check-in at about 5:30pm. The queue was again very long and this time only two of three desks were open. It took another 30 minutes of waiting until I was assigned my room. Later I noticed, the free Wifi is absolutely unusable. The connection speed was below 1 Mbit/s, which is by today's standards almost nothing. In a modern hotel I expect more. Offering such a bad Wifi advertised as free is same thing as advertising running water, which comes out of the tap only drop by drop. On the next morning I went down into the Deli for me pre-booked breakfast. I was surprised it is served individually and not a breakfast buffet. Again, I had to wait a very long time until I was served my food. The eggs were only delivered after I asked for them again and they were even not hot anymore, but almost cold. The breakfast took me almost an hour. Not a good idea to go for breakfast if you already made some plans in New York. On the positive note, I can say, I was very satisfied with the size of my room. It is definitely bigger than the average hotel room in New York. Otherwise, the hotel was constantly stealing my time, waiting in the Lobby, waiting for the breakfast or waiting for websites to load. I would definitely not recommend the hotel to anybody, as it was even quite expensive with more than 400$ for one night only. I think, I could have made a better deal elsewhere."
